Actions in the penitentiary environment
Each year workshops in arts practices are organised for the detainees in the correctional institutions of Mulhouse and Colmar and in the central Prison of Ensisheim.

La Filature au collège (La Filature in middle school)
This project takes place in the schools of the Haut-Rhin, in close collaboration with the pedagogical staff – permitting adolescents and young audiences to learn about performance from a different point of view: workshops in arts practices, performances, encounters with the artists, workshops in preparation, work based on pedagogical concepts… An adapted and fun approach to art which will guide the young spectators into being more aware, curious and sensitive, maybe even inspire a vocation or two…
This season, school projects based on the pieces Matin Brun, Rhizikon, L'été où le ciel s'est renversé (Quelqu’un m’attend de l’autre côté), Visite dansée as well as cine-concerts in partnership with the Symphony Orchestra of Mulhouse, will be offered to establishments in the Haut Rhin.
In addition, the company en attendant…, which will create Les grands plateaux in December, will be in residence at the collège François Villon for a second season.

Actions targeting audiences in difficulty
For several seasons, La Filature has developed a policy dealing with facilitating access to culture for disadvantaged and handicapped audiences for whom attending a performance is not easy, working closely with associations and their staff. To that end there are special ticket prices as well as preparations for coming to the performances and encounters for those involved. This season we will be offering dance workshops for different groups with the choreographer Nieke Swennen.

Workshop in partnership with those in the theatre section of the lycée Montaigne
Last season, the students in the theatre section of the lycée Montaigne worked with the writer Marion Muller, writing a play whose principal theme would be suicide. This season they will work on the staging of their play.

Work with UHA students
As it does every year, la Scène nationale and the S.U.A.C. of the Université de Haute-Alsace offer its students a Unité d’Enseignement (module) based on the performing arts.

Theater Workshop
Juliette Plumecocq-Mech, an actress who has worked with the Théâtre du Soleil, will lead theatre workshops directed at high school students.

The choreographer Nieke Swennen will lead a special workshop for primary school students.

Reading group ThéâtroFil’
The Médiathèque, the Conservatory of Mulhouse and the National stage invite you to discovery contemporary theatrical writing. Reading periods, exchanges and staged readings of certain pre-selected works will be offered throughout the season. The reading groups will take place on Wednesdays: 5 October, 9 November, 23 November, 1st February, 22 February and 28 March, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM
The theatrical encounters will lead to two public readings at the médiathèque of La Filature Wednesday 7 December and Wednesday 4 April at 7:00 PM.
