Alexandre Théry

Alexandre Théry is also an artist often found onstage at La Filature. Having been part of the pieces Stille Nacht, Ce que nous vîmes and My Way, he returns with a dance proposal, a solo he created which he also performs. He stages for us in image and movement the story of Don Quixote, a man haunted by the inexorable passing of time, eager to begin an adventure, an attack, a crusade. He becomes a solitary knight, intent upon maintaining order and justice in a country which is falling apart. Accompanied by his faithful companion Sancho and surrounded by the multitude of characters he meets over the course of his travels, Don Quixote is above all one man against the world, alone facing his own death.
