Zita Swoon Group in collaboration with Rosas

Onstage we discover the colourful universe of the Zita Swoon Group: an upright piano, an organ dating from the 60’s, electric guitars, drums, as well as traditional Latin drums such as congas, bongos, surdos, and some everyday objects: pans, a metal file, vases, lamps made of glass… This evening is not only a concert but a creative encounter inspired by the dancer Simon Mayer. In the middle of this jumble of things, he associates intuitively with the music, in the choreography he created with the great choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. The dialogue between the solo dancer and the musicians, playing a reactive score which responds to the tiniest of his movements, carries us far into emotion and a sensation of freedom. An unexpected, enchanting dance concert.
