Bichon
He asks himself questions about whales’ noses and firmly supports Yvette Horner against Marine Le Pen. When he sings, he describes with an incredible inspiration the bleeding of his heart. A young artist with an abundant imagination, he refuses to limit himself to being the intelligent buffoon popularised a few years ago by a radio singing competition. With his taste for conceptual and comic wordplay, with a bitingly sharp wit, he affirms his love for the French language and shows us with brilliance that we must not be afraid of the words which carry romanticism to the edge of surrealism. An extremely talented writer, composer and performer, he collaborated on his latest album Bichon with Dominique A, Françoise Hardy, Philippe Katerine and many others. A solitary, roaming dandy, alternately whimsical and sensitive, Julien Doré reinvents the sound of the 70’s.
