Nass El Ghiwane is a legend in Morocco. Their creed is to sing the way they speak, to speak the way they live, to speak about their country, to denounce injustice and to call for loving one’s neighbor: the group, rightly considered revolutionary, has been living fully its musical adventures for over thirty years! The singularity of this mythic group is due as much to the vehemence of its texts as to its connection to its ancestral Ghiwane tradition, given to artists known for their integrity and modesty, who are able to evoke in song and words their daily lives and the problems experienced by their peers. Onstage, these four African Rolling Stones, who come to us from Casablanca, share with us their intoxicating rhythms and their irresistible life force.
