Chloé Moglia – Cie Rhizome

Rhizikon is an astonishing trapeze solo performed by the equally astonishing Chloé Moglia. This specialist of aerial disciplines, capable of mindblowing technical feats, is now planning to step beyond her limits. After I look up, I look down… previously presented at La Filature, in which she and a partner moved around an immense wall, this time she will use a school blackboard as the base for her high-flying performance. Hanging upside down, she clings to its surface like a spider on a wall. Immediately after the performance, the artist will engage in 20 to 45 minutes of conversation with the audience. And there should be a lot to talk about: How far do we push ourselves? Why? Should we accept certain limitations? What is acceptable risk? Does the adrenaline generated in the face of danger, the unknown, the forbidden, justify the action? Should we consider the possibility, the anguish of falling? The performance of Chloé Moglia will spark hours of dialogue.
