Aurélie Gandit – Cie La Brèche
How do we reconcile two passions, contemporary dance and art history? Having hesitated, not wanting to choose between being a dancer and a conference guide, Aurélie Gandit has created a magnificent meeting place for the two, the danced visit. To help us discover the treasures of the Beaux-Arts Museum in Mulhouse, the artist did documentary research on the works being shown while at the same time working on choreographic material on site. You may thus discover or rediscover the delicate melancholia of the works of Jean-Jacques Henner, the porcelain preciosity of Flore et Zéphyr, the skillfully arranged still lifes of the 17th century and the coloured vibrations of Eugène Boudin’s Marines – with a different emotion and joy.
